We’re trying to organize an IJK that is accessible to as many people as possible. In addition to the already low fees, ther are various possible discounts:
IJK volunteer
If you become an IJK volunteer, you’ll receive a €50 discount and a beautiful organge t-shirt. In return you have to work for at least 12 hours during the IJK. Your tasks can be controlling name badges, preparing meals, cleaning, helping in the bar or something completely different. If you’re interested in becoming a helper, choose the field ‘Mi pretas esti volontulo’ in the registration form, and we’ll reach out to you.
Partoprenu IJK
TEJO organizes the competition Partoprenu IJK (Partipate in IJK) every year. Winners of the competition participate in the IJK entirely for free, and have their travel expenses reimbursed up to 80%. The competition is mainly aimed at those who have a hard time travelling to the IJK, and who are active in the youth section of the Esperanto movement. More information on the competition will soon be available at https://www.tejo.org.
Program discount
We additionally offer small discounts to those who contribute significantly to the program with, for instance, a themed lecture or interesting course. If you can bring something that contributes greatly to the atmosphere, mention that when filling out the registration form.
